I think it would help to allow users to specify how many round robins to have in a tournament. I'm going to be running tournaments that require a double round robin format, so this would be a great help.296 votes
Thanks for suggesting this. We’ll need to clean up the way we present round robins before allowing multiple (otherwise the bracket page will be ginormous), but we’ll try to check this off next year.
Your online website is awesome, especially your simple-yet-effective Swiss Round generator, but I would like to be able to use it if I do not have access to the Internet.
An offline version for PCs/laptops and/or a cellphone app (Google Android pregerred) would probably help those without access to the Internet greatly.130 votes
I’ve been planning such an app for quite some time, but can’t say for sure when it will be ready. Android’s first in line for mobile app though.
This may initially just include country flags, but we’re definitely aware of the need for this.
I run big team tournaments and I don't want information leaking out. Is it possible to have the tournament set to private mode?6 votes
This is a nicely timed request. We’re working with another customer who needs a solution for this as well. We don’t have a solution yet, but it’ll be in the works within the next couple months.
For example, the number 2 seed should be all the way on the bottom and the move your way top. So, it should be something like this, if it's a 16 team bracket: 1-16, 9-8, 5-12, 13-4 (Upper Bracket)
3-14, 11-6, 7-10, 15-2 (Lower Bracket)13 votes
Thanks for the feedback! You’re absolutely right, the lower bracket order should be reversed. Since this doesn’t affect pairings, it won’t get immediate attention, but this change is definitely planned.
It obviously should look a bit different on challonge. I guess only gained points should be displayed in the match table cell, with detailed info moved to the pop-up. Standart ? for unplayed games is obvious. And maybe some color coding for unfinished matches where some games were already played.
It's probably not an easy feature to implement, but if done right it will make tournament tables much more convenient. And one more thing: this combo table should be embed without detailed game list, since it will already contain it.7 votes
Thanks for the suggestion! Gotta hit some other features before I get to this, but I definitely see the value in this.
Player signs in his team or himself depending on the tournament. This way the bracket will not create no-shows and players aren't getting byes for 3-4 rounds.1 vote
Have the ability to have pre-determined sorting options for retrieving API data using GET.
For example, being able to sort matches.xml by updated-by rather than a static sort by match-id.3 votes
I’ll include sorting options in the next API release. Thanks for the feedback!
This way, people will know how the ranking is computed.1 vote
Thanks, good idea. We just underline the most important column right now, but that doesn’t make it very clear.
