We need a system which has a round timer in single elimination and in swiss. This is for a TCG and we don't want matches going too long.
Honestly, even for single elimination, I would prefer people not play ahead and wait for the matches to finish. It's necessary because there are stall decks and konami's tournament policy has measures to deal with end of time procedures. But if there is no time, and everyone plays ahead whenever they want, then it's a problem.
I propose the addition of an optional round timer, which would allow participants to play each other, then after the time ends or all games are over, move on to the next round.

Well, after the tournament host chooses to end the round, not just because time was over. But it would be used to keep track and let everyone know how much time is left.
