Hwang Hee-chan's heavy shoulders, Wolverhampton Cunha likely to be out for the season
Hwang Hee-chan's shoulder, who plays for the Wolverhampton Wanderers in the English Premier League, has become heavy.
With Hwang Hee-chan away from the Asian Cup, Mateus Cunha, who was responsible for Wolverhampton's attack, is likely to miss the rest of the season.
Wolverhampton released the results of Cunha's detailed examination on its official website on the 15th.
Wolverhampton coach Gary O'Neill suffered a serious injury to Kunha's hamstring. No timetable has been set for his return. He said: "Kunha has had several conversations to recover as soon as possible."
Cunha was replaced by Jean-Richner Bellegard in the 20th minute of the first half due to injury against Branford on the 11th.
Player injuries are common. However, this injury does not appear to be a minor factor. A hamstring injury usually takes about a month, but a return to the field is unpredictable.
Britain's Sky Sports reports Cunha's return this season is hopeless.
Cunha has nine goals and six assists in 24 matches in the EPL this season. His disappointment is even greater as his skills and performance have improved since he scored a hat-trick against Chelsea.
The good news is that Hwang Hee-chan has returned safely. Hwang Hee-chan is making a career high by scoring 10 goals and three assists in 20 EPL games this season. Hwang Hee-chan is expected to make his comeback in the Korean Derby against Son Heung-min (Tottenham) on the 18th.
"Cunya's injury was a huge blow to us," O'Neill said. "He also played when Sanni (Hwang Hee-chan) was absent for nearly a month due to the Asian Cup. In this way, we have to overcome Cunya's absence."
