    You have left! (?) (thinking…)
How important is this to you?

Guys, thanks for the suggestion. Are there any docs out there that explain this process of reseeding in more detail?

Now that we have a check-in feature, there should be less need to drop players in the first round. We also have a group stage feature that’s incredibly close to being released, so that may further reduce the need for this — groups can be played, and then group advancers can be positioned in the final bracket as you like.

Reseeding doesn't necessarily happen when players drop. Basically you want to do this when you don't want to have the 2 best remaining teams facing each other.

For instance, if you have a scenario where you have:

    1v8, 2v7, 3v6, 4v5

Let's say seeds 1, 7, 6, and 5 win. Without reseeding, it's always the winner of the first match playing the winner of the fourth match, so you have 1v5 and 6v7 in the second round. With reseeding, you have the highest remaining seed playing the lowest remaining seed, so you would have 1v7 and 5v6.
