Two Stage Tournament API
There are a good amount of options in the API but still a lack of support for two stage tournaments. Could this be rectified as I need this data for an application I'm making.
This is available in V2.1 of our API. Consider this a very soft launch, but you're welcome to try it out by following the documentation at https://api.challonge.com/v2/api_docs/single_swagger_doc - we don't have fine-grained control of group assignment, but there's enough here to fully progress a two-stage tournament and report both group stage and final stage matches.
We'll have much more significant API news in 2024. Thank you!

Yeah lmao. Why is there no choice for two stages? But I can't use this one since I want to construct a bracket with 12 teams and then it will have just 6 teams after that.

I would also like this. You can make a 2 stage tournament through the API by setting tournament[group_stages_enabled] to true. However it defaults the first stage to round robin and there is no way that I know of to change the format on the first stage.

Yeah lol. Why no 2 stage option. I want to make a 12 teams bracket and getting only 6 teams after that, but can't use this one.. =(
