Enable odd/ varying number of entrants per Group in Group Stages
Currently, in the Group Stage -> Final Stage format the number of "spillover" entrants are assigned into a new group, as opposed to being inserted into existing pools (thus giving odd numbers).
For example, say someone is running a Double Elimination Group Stage that feeds into a Double Elim Final Stage. They have access to, let's say 8 stations (be it courts, consoles, tables, whatever) and are limited to one wave of Group Play.
If they have 8 stations, and 74 entrants. Said TO wants the Final Stage to contain 32 participants. That should be 8 groups of 9, with two leftover to be inserted into an established group (1 player = 1 group). Theoretically, these should be classified as the lowest seeds and should play the 2nd lowest seeds in their (new) respective groups.
Currently, a NEW group is made, containing ONLY these two individuals. Raising the "entrants per group" cap will ultimately make 7 groups, thus making a 28 person bracket.
This happens at many other entrant levels/ group number combinations, but this example was one of the easier ones to illustrate.
