Customizable score table in round-robin
Round-robin would fit much more use cases if it provided a way to create your own score table with custom columns where you could specify how the score would be calculated. This would mean that you could add additional scoring information to the score table and also make your own rules for who will win.
In the long term I would love to see some kind of score table template that you could provide yourself, preferably stored in some known markup language such as XML or JSON so that you could either use the Challonge web interface or the API to specify the template.
Love your work!

I´m an API user and my players are added automatically - I would like to add an arbitrary icon to the player in the bracket display - my users aren´t necessarily challonge users. https://freegamesonline.io

I fully support this idea.
Why this hasn't been included yet is beyond me.
Title Changes is mainly all thats needed for me change ability Games to frames and be able to remove Sets,Tiebreaks and TB from standings including the Matches W-L-D to Matches W-L

I support this idea.
We have backgammon tournaments, and running something called Tric Trac tourneys.
See scoring rules at: http://dg.firgoose.com/Tourneys/TTTs/46-48/TTT_46-48_Rules.htm#Scoring
This is almost supported as is today with points for wins, and points for ties, but would need some finer adjustment since the score is dependent on how many points the game is won by.
In these tourneys the possible scores are quite simple, but the need for setting decimal scores is necessary.
The simplest solution would be to allow the score to be set "manually" (as in "not calculated") for each match, and then the score could be set either actually manually (on website) or by by API, by adding some variant over the theme match[scores_csv] like match[points_csv] and then allow values like "2.7-0.5" (3-0 match results), "0-5-1" (0-1 match result).
I think allowing such and score option in round robin also would "solve" this initial idea, in a simpler manner, and possibly less intrusive on existing.

To clarify how this could work when making a custom score table column: except for specifying a name of the column and a priority, you would also be able to specify a formula for how the value should be calculated such as "wins - losses". This requires Challonge to provide certain variables to the template such as matches played, wins, losses etc. It would also be nice to specify your own formulated variables, kind of like a simplified version of a spreedsheet application.
I did not mean for the web interface to show the template in XML or in JSON but that it would be nice to be able to provide the template this way using the API or some kind of upload functionality.
