San Francisco's Lee Jung-hoo hit a double and a home run in the second game of the Major League Baseball exhibition game, clearly proving the legitimacy of a big contract.
Lee Jung-hoo started as center fielder in an away exhibition game against the Arizona Diamondbacks on the 1st and hit his first home run in his second at-bat in the top of the third inning following his first at-bat double.
With two outs and no runners on the plate, Lee took the batter's box and hit a solo homer over the right-center fence by hitting a fastball from Arizona's starting pitcher Nelson on the fourth pitch. Lee didn't miss the 94.7-mile (152-kilometer) fastball that was pushed to the center, and passed the ball with a swing that added flexibility to his character. According to Statcast, Lee's exit velocity was 109.7 miles (177 kilometers) and the launch angle was only 18 degrees. He led to a 127-meter-long homer. It clearly showed Lee's power to pass the ball by utilizing the speed of his bat's head even at a low launch angle.
In his first at-bat, Lee opened the game with a sharp double that reached the right side of the outfield at high speed.
Lee Jung-hoo recorded a hit in his first at-bat in his debut match against Seattle on the 28th, and proved his fast feet by inducing errors with a stolen base attempt. In the second game of the day, he recorded two additional on-base hits, including a home run, proving that he has power as well as speed.
