Double elimination to Single elimination bracket..
Hi Guy's,
Is it possible for you guys to make a double elimination bracket of 16 or 32 players and the last 8 or 16 will be single elimination ?
Right now i'm using 2 different bracket but if it can be done in one would be awesome. Right now i'm using 32 palyers double elimination bracket and at round 3 you get 16 players and from that part the winner above has to meet a player in the loser bracket but the bracket will resume as a single elimination bracket.
If you need any comment of e bracket preview i have one made already in excell.
I love your site and keep doing this great work.

This doesn't solve it for when I only want single elimination for the last 4 teams reaching the semi-finals. It often makes better sense for the two best teams of the winner bracket to not meet each other in the semi-finals, but in the finals (given they both win the semis), instead the final always having a team that lost a match.

Hi David, thank you for your reply. Yes that is exactly what i want to do. We are currently using your 26 players bracket stage 1 and the last 16 standing ( 8 winners / 8 losers ) will advance to stage 2 playing a single elimination bracket. I have e template made in excell that I would gladly share with you by mail to see how we made it based on challonge double elimination bracket. With all the crossing needed that the players who played against each other already wont meet each other back in the first round of the single elimination bracket. Also in the first round every winner will meet a player in the loser bracket.
Again thanks for your reply. And thank you again for your support.

Gemajel — thanks for your feedback! We're working on supporting double elimination groups for two-stage tournaments, and once that's ready, it'll support what you're wanting to do. In your case, you'll have 1 double elimination group in stage 1, with 8 or 16 players advancing, and then a single elimination bracket in stage 2.
