    Guys, thanks for the suggestion. Are there any docs out there that explain this process of reseeding in more detail?

    Now that we have a check-in feature, there should be less need to drop players in the first round. We also have a group stage feature that’s incredibly close to being released, so that may further reduce the need for this — groups can be played, and then group advancers can be positioned in the final bracket as you like.

    My idea was similar but it was based in using a bracket that used pre-rounds. Because of scheduling conflicts I had to shuffle some players around and it didn't affect their placement, but now the bracket on the site is worthless after the first round and I have to use the paper version.

    at http://challonge.com/brighton people in the first full round had to be moved, but that means either I can't keep the score for round 0 or I have to use some other trick.
