Thanks for the feedback! You’re absolutely right, the lower bracket order should be reversed. Since this doesn’t affect pairings, it won’t get immediate attention, but this change is definitely planned.

Well, it would be helpful in games like baseball where there is a decidedly big difference between the top and bottom players.

Guys, thanks for the suggestion. Are there any docs out there that explain this process of reseeding in more detail?
Now that we have a check-in feature, there should be less need to drop players in the first round. We also have a group stage feature that’s incredibly close to being released, so that may further reduce the need for this — groups can be played, and then group advancers can be positioned in the final bracket as you like.
