Argentine goaltender Lautaro's dream: "I want to play for Inter Milan for the rest of my life."
Argentine national soccer team striker Lautaro Martinez expressed through his agent that he wants to play for Inter Milan 'for the rest of his life'.
Martinez's representative, Alejandro Camano, told local broadcaster TV Play: "Our relationship with Inter Milan is based on trust. We hope Lautaro will play for this team for the rest of his life. He will continue the fight at Inter Milan and support the fans. "I want to make them happy. I want to see the fans coming to the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza with the expectation that the team will win. I am grateful to Inter Milan for this."
Lautaro, who debuted at Argentine club Racing in 2015 and has been playing for Inter Milan since 2018, was a rookie prospect recognized only for his potential when he first joined the team, but has now grown so much that he can be considered the club's star. Over the past five years, he has scored 116 goals in 254 official matches, and from the 2023-2024 season, he has served as team captain and scored twelve goals. Inter Milan is currently leading the league thanks to Lautaro's goal hunting.
If Lautaro plays for Inter Milan for the rest of his life, as his agent said, he will establish himself as a "greatest legend" like fellow Argentine legend Javier Zanetti. Lautaro, who is already greatly loved by Inter Milan fans, is as loyal as Zanetti. It appears that he will be able to establish himself as a club legend.
