   The main downside of a round robin competition is the amount of time required to accomplaish it. A 30 team tournament, for example, divided into three 10-team groups, would take 3*9=27 rounds. Another disadvantage is that many teams will finish up with tied points at the end of the round robin. http://duck-life4.com/
