i'd like the option of a 3 round swiss tournament please.
i'd like the option of a 3 round swiss tournament please. it currently starts at 4 rounds minimum, but I only need 3 for bolt action 1 day tournaments.

Free For All, but with multiple rounds
I've long wanted a FFA bracket available, and it's great that Challonge has added one. However, it's still not quite finished yet I think. I still currently have to run FFA tournaments in the Round Robin set ups, for games such as Halo, or Mario Kart, or any local multiplayer game really.
The reasoning being is when a FFA format is set up on the generator, it's a one-and-done type situation. Once each game is complete, that's it. In a "false" RR format, I throw in two players from one "match", and one from another, and calculate points on each…

Fixture rearrangement
It would be cool if you could manually adjust the fixtures so it's like the Premier League, where everything is in a random order and not a specific order.

need madden 20 and nba 2k20 added to the community list of games to play
there is madden 19 and nba 2k19 but the madden 20 and the nba 2k20 are not available to make apart of the list

Report Scores Tab - Should allow you to start a match and it should assign stations automatically
On the "Report Scores" tab, You should have the ability to:
a:) Start/Pause a match and show it like on the bracket pages(highlighted)
b:) show which station(table) are assigned to each match
c:) Automatically assign the new match to an open station(table)

Improve Translation and Network Proformance for CN
First, now the translation (i18n) in Chinese (zhCN&zhTW) is not good, there are lots of incorrect tranlation. Hope you can improve the qulity of translation.
Second, visit to the Challonge from CN mainland is hard, the network proformance is not good as possible, hope you can make more CDN resouce and provide better experience in CN.thank you.

set up an"up and down the river" format tournament
This up and down the river is a no ending format.The winner is the one who is at the highest station at the end of time allocated. When you win you go up and when you loose you go down. It is used a lot in Tennis or Badminton. You can do it individually and at every match or you organize a round robin where the winner or the place 1 and 1 go up and the loser or the last 2 go down.

Allow Admin to Control Bracket Privacy After the Tournament has Ended
Please allow tournament admins to enable/disable the "Exclude this event from search engines and the public browsable index" permission after the bracket has been ended. Currently it can only be modified while the tournament is going on, and being able to hide a finished tournament for privacy concerns without having to delete would be beneficial. I believe it used to be available after the bracket ended, but it is not anymore.

Challonge needs a better, universal and hierarchical community and tournament permissions
Challaonge lacks of better usage of website resources.
First of all currently there is no option to add additional admins to any tournament that has already finished. This is important in case something happens to the tournament owner. Simply you can create a new tournament with same data but this would make lots of dublicates...
Current community system can envelope multiple tournaments with same type, however on permission side, a community manager has no connection to the tournaments in a superior permission level. This is normally how its done in big structures.

Single Elimination Double Byes
In single elimination tournaments, top-seeded teams are occasionally given a "double bye", meaning they skip two rounds rather than one (a good example of this would be NCAA men's basketball tournaments in several conferences, such as the Big Ten or ACC). Currently, teams and players cannot receive a double bye, as the number of byes are automatically minimized and cannot be changed. This feature should be added to Challonge so that we can build tournaments with double byes.

Veto Style Elimination match from station mode
Currently most games such as CS-go, rainbow six siege, osu! and other have their veto system which can make players to ban the map themselves. I think that feature is a huge boost for challonge to gain more people to host with it.
In general, there's my idea for Veto-mode Tournaments :

Each team takes turns banning maps. Both teams will ban three maps each and the last map will be the one that will be played.Ex: Team 1 Ban - Team 2 Ban - Team 1 Ban - Team 2 Ban - Team 1 Ban…

best of 3
Best of 3 scoring to just have Set 1, Set 2, Set 3 and let it figure out the score.
Today if you set it to best of 3, the score reporting popup shows three columns, Score, Set 2, Set 3. If player A wins the first set, and Player B wins Sets 2 and 3, if you input them in this order it says we are reporting player A as winning the whole match.

CONSOLIDATE "PARTICIPANTS LIST" type requests and do it
So this idea was requested by many and there are too many to vote for only a couple. Basic idea: an account can maintain a list of participants/players...once entered they can be selected/dropped/whatever into a new tournament. (Having to re-enter the same people over and over is annoying, error prone, and easy for you to fix, right?). Sure people want add'l things like editing them, managing their details, but start with just keeping the list (!). Who wants to re-enter 128 names more than once?? thanks!!

Double elimination to Single at round of 8 or 16
For our pool and snooker comps we use a double elimination that ends at round of 8 to help with time that then goes into single elimination.
Currently using 2 brackets but be awesome to have it straight in one bracket.
If this can be done then it saves spending £200 a year on another service from a different provider.

Swiss: Add option for "X points per point scored"
There is no way to award points in the Swiss tournament for the number of points scored.
This would be useful if you have two teams playing 3 matches, regardless. (Not best-of-3.)
Right now, the only workaround is to award 1 point per set win and enter 3 sets: 1-0, 1-0, 1-0.
(Or, technically, could be 7-0, 0-(-1), 141-100. It will still be 3 set wins for the first team.)
It would be nice to be able to just enter one set that's 3-0 (and then the first team gets 3 points).

Texting players
I use this page specially for billiards tournaments. It would be super handy if I could enter players phone numbers and text them when their turn comes and even let them know they're up next

allow participants to submit extra information (like a Warhammer 40k army list) when they register.
In order to support tabletop games, it'd be great if players could submit their army lists when they register so TOs can check their submissions for validity.

Shuffling Brackets to be included in the log.
I hope challonge will put the number of times bracket was shuffled in the log tab. Players nowadays mind it and we need proof as organizers. Thanks.
