  1. statistics

    Do you think it will be possible to associate statistics to the games played in the tournaments? For example the scores submitted are stored for each player for each game no matter what tournament. This would probably require to specify the game and not only the category when creating a tournament. I am confident you could come up with some tweak that would make it become viral (people like stats).

  2. How do I get everyone in round 1 and then the winners advance

    On single elimination Tournaments how do I get everyone in round one and then have the winner of each match keep advancing. Even though I have not started my tournament I see people in round 2 already. I want everyone to start in round one

  3. Challonge app for Blackberry

    It would be nice to have an app for my Blackberry Storm or my Playbook that allows me to update a tournament as it is going on. My train of thinking is set up the tournament ahead of time on the PC, and then have the app allow me to begin and update any and all published tournaments under my username. All of our tournaments are Ultimate Frisbee, so having a computer onsite connected to the internet is not always easy, but plenty of people have blackberries (or Androids or iPhones).

  4. Post tournament schedules/results WITHOUT frames

    Right now, the premium modules are an excellent way for us to use the system that you provide at Challonge on our own sites. The only problem is that a lot of advertising campaigns (Google AdSense, for example) do not allow ads on pages that contain framed content.

    Perhaps this is possible through some sort of API that I haven't found yet. Either way, the ability to use Challonge without using frames would be awesome!

  5. Allow Special Characters in Scoring

    The MMORPG game i play www.futurerp.net we do tournys now in. When we do team tourneys we total the amount of attacks from both players and then use that as a score. Well the problem we found is some of the players are not carrying there weight and advancing with another player without attacking which in turn the player that didnt attack gets an award with the other player because they were on same team.

    What we would like is to have special characters allowed so we can seperate the scoring totals with the team like this for example 12345…

  6. Adding location for participants

    It would be great if we had the option and ability to add location that participants are from. This would help seed players by area/region/state/etc. Shuffling seeds is great, but doesn't solve issues with players who have traveled together a long way, only to go up against each other in the 1st round.

    The idea is, if they are really good, then they would eventually meet in the later rounds, much like #1 and #2 seeded players. Earliest those two should meet would be in semi/winners finals otherwise you could very well have one of the best competitors being eliminated…

  8. Add Groups of Players, not only for tournaments

    I'm quite sure most tournament players will join this, but I don't know if it is too much for a website.

    Creating a "group of players" in a specific tournament subdomain (it's important to specify that must be created in the specific subdomain) should allow:
    -hosters to pick players also from the list of the group
    -record all results of a player in a sort of bracket
    -link each player to points gained according to the results (glicko2 or similar), allowing the program to create skill brackets sorting automatically players (and giving the minimum to the new players).

  9. live bracket image in RR

    Is it possible to have separate links for the results table (the table at the bottom of the actual live bracket image in RR) apart from the standard?

    In case of 4, 8, 10 people RR it's ok, you have to scroll a bit and you'll see it. In case of 20+ participant, if I link/post the image or even the live module I have to scroll down for a while until i get to the table I need to see in order to know who's winning.

    Or, in case you can't split or you don't want, can you just…

  10. Track voting by IP and not account/facebook login.

    The login requirement may honestly may put people off from voting on your site. May I recommend something if you dislike this idea?

    IP vote = 1 point
    Facebook vote = 1.2 point
    Challonge vote = 1.5 point

    While it seem to be rigged, you got to remember anyone can make an account for free and by using an account your vote is more tractable giving it more worth. While I dislike this idea myself I can understand if you want others to join your site and kinda trying to make it fair to you.

    When predicting winners, allow for the tournament to give bonus points for predicting lower seeds upsetting higher seeds.

  12. Imbed small or large brackets rather than just the medium size

    Here we can view a bracket as S, M or L. It would be great if we could also embed the Small or Large brackets on other websites

  14. round robins that teams play against eachother 2 times like in a soccer competition

    i would really like the option to do this in your competition because if you have a custom soccer competition for example this would be a great feature

  15. Enter contact info for the tournament

    The tournaments are very organized so far but there is a lack of being able to communicate..so say in round 1 bill is facing chuck

    it would be nice for bill to click on chucks name and see extra info chuck provided like skype, so then they can keep in touch to make sure there match is still on.

  16. Single matches

    Instead of having a long bracket tree (single and double elimation) it would be nice with single matches. So the matches are not bound to each other in a long tree, they have their own place or what I should say.

    With this you can make as in Champions League (football) when they make a new draw after each round and I want to do so in my next tournament. This system is good so you don't know who you gonna play against next and it will be more random than a bracket tree.

    Maybe it could be a mode…

  18. Swiss bracket seed byes to top seed.

    Basically, right now when you do a double elimination tournament the higher seeds get the byes but if you do a swiss tournament the bye goes to the last seed instead of the first.

    I don't know if this is an idea or a bug. Thanks.

  19. Allow a point threshold before a game win is declared.

    To cut to the chase: I'm looking to emulate the official Android: Netrunner prestige system as outlined in their tournament rules (found here: http://www.fantasyflightgames.com/ffg_content/android-netrunner/support/ADN_Tournament_Rules.pdf )

    In some types of swiss events, match points are a function of game wins, but a game is not considered won or complete unless a certain number of points is scored by a player. In the event a game goes to time and cannot be completed, the game is a tie, and match points for that specific game are instead split by the players - but their individual point values still matter, as their total…
