Handicapping
In 8-ball when the tourney is handicapped each player will have a rating, this rating will determine how many games player A will need to win and how many player B needs to win to win the match, These can be different when a weak player matches against a string one, and will change each match depending on your opponent.
Player handicaps are known at the start of the tourney, a method for entering and displaying these is required.

Create upper and lower bracket after group stage
Challonge as it is, is a very usefull tool
Im trying to create a 2 stage tournament, with a group phase, plus 2 brackets in bracket phase, one for the first half of players plus another for the lower.

Importing old finished tournaments to community records
Really wish there was a feature to make it possible to import records of finished tournaments into community pages that were done before the community feature was added.
I recently set up community for Warhammer 40,000 Dawn of War 2 Retribution Elite Mod. However, there were over 2 years and half worth of monthly tournament records that were done before this community feature was added and feels bad that these records cannot be added into the community's records to show others that this community was active for long in challogne. Registration is not available for your location
We made a tournament with a registration page. It worked fine until suddenly it stopped working and it displayed the message "Registration is not available for your location". We've tried several things to fix this and the topic is nowhere to be found. We didn't set up any location requirement and I don't know if it's really possible to do that, so why do we have that message? Thanks.

Add option to disable rematch when player from top bracket loses against player from bottom bracket
The format of our tournament is to have best-of-three matches for all pairings except when the last two players meet. That last match is a best-of-five with no rematch if the top player loses.

Combine round robin table with match results

It obviously should look a bit different on challonge. I guess only gained points should be displayed in the match table cell, with detailed info moved to the pop-up. Standart ? for unplayed games is obvious. And maybe some color coding for unfinished matches where some games were already played.
It's probably not an easy feature to implement, but if done right it will make tournament tables much more convenient. And one more thing: this combo table should be embed without detailed game list, since it will already contain it.

All bye's at the bottom and a bye plays a bye in the next round
Is it posable to have all bye's at the bottom and a bye plays a bye in the next round for example, winner of match 1-2 plays winner of match 3-4 and so on until you come to the bye's, I don't want a bye to be playing a first round winner in the second round, just another bye, the one below them on the list. Great site by the way, I love it.

Every round random draw
All the major 8 ball pool tournaments in Australia have random draws each round of the single elimination knockout stage.

Add live stream TV option like twitchtv.com to be embed during matches.
To allow those involved or not, to be able to log into challonge tournament via url, go to live stream tv, set by the owner of the challonge, and watch current matches being played or scheduled.

Make the brackets close at a certain time so there is a deadline before entering the scores

Bug in Random Robin player sorting
If players have the same amount of points but different amount of games, they are incorrectly sorted. The common practice is to place players with more games left to play BEFORE players with less games left, not after.

Allow multiple email addresses for one team
We have a bracket that is teams - 2 members per team. I would like BOTH members to get an email when their match is up. Each bracket entry should be flexible with the # of emails associated for notifications.
Only 1 person needed to make a 'team' but many members of the team could be notified.

Multi-level sorting for Round Robin results.
This is more of a question, and if the answer is no, then a feature request:
Do you do multi-level sorting for Round Robin results? Say if 'Match W-L-T' is identical for a few players, how to rank them? Do you then sort by 'Game/Set Wins' and/or 'Total Points'?
If not, may be good to allow choices for different multi-level sorting, like 'M-L-T first, then Game/Set Wins', 'Total Points first, then Game/Set Wins' etc. Or just make some default that you think making sense for the majority of people.
Actually since M-L-T and Game/Set Wins should be equivalent in multi-level…

Sonneborn-Berger tie-break score in Round Robin
Currently the Round Robin tournaments use the Median-Buchholz scoring system to break ties.
But in a round robin tournament players with the same score will also have the same tie-break score, when all matches has been played. If players are tied by score and tie-break score, they are sorted based on their records relative to one another. And finally seed breaks up any remaining ties, which is in my opinion the most 'unfair' breaking of ties.Anyway, the Buchholz score is not the best scoring system for round robin tournaments.
Instead, the Sonneborn-Berger tie-break score could be used for round…7 votes -
Allow customization of match numbers
I help run a taekwondo league that does men's and women's brackets at three skill levels. Essentially, six tournaments are being run concurrently. As a means of simplifying information for competitors, each match is assigned to a series--100 for men's A, 200 for women's A, etc. (This is useful because it allows announcements to be made over a PA system to summon the relevant competitors.)
It would be helpful if it was possible to customize the matches, which are currently 'lettered,' such that they could be customized to start numbering from a given number.

Swiss as preliminary rounds, then cut to top X
Useful for Magic tournaments, you have a set number of Swiss rounds with everyone in the one pool, and then you cut all but the top X (usually eight) players for a single elimination finals.

3 or more stage tournaments
Say, big round robin groups, smaller Swiss, smaller still single elimination and other combinations thereof. Of course an elimination tournament can only be the last stage, or a group stage.
