Ability to remove admin permission after tournament has finished
I give admin permission to brackets for someone else to update as I cannot always be at the venue. I need to be able to remove this access when the tournament has finished

Add an option to allow matchup/table names to NOT increment
We use the match up labels (A through Z and AA through AZ, etc) as table names. But when the next round generates, it throws off tables names badly if the number of matches is greater than 26.
I need it to recycle the same table names for each round so that I am not forced to relabel my tables for each round.

Consider a facility for deducting points for infringements etc
A facility for deducting score points from the table in round robins/group stages would be useful. For example, deducting 1 point for rule infringements or failing to fulfil fixtures etc.

Not-Final Tournaments
Not all tournaments are created to be winned, there should be and option to finish th tourney before the final (Such as preliminaries or qualification).

Add the tiebreaker option of just the 2 teams head to head.
With the current head to head tiebreaker if i have several teams on the same points then it ranks them by which of them has beaten the most of the other teams on the same points. However if 2 of these teams have both beaten 2 of the other teams then their order seems arbitrary. It certainly doesn't account for their individual head to head.
So on occasion someone misses out on qualification to the finals because the bracket arbitrarily ordered them and the team above because they had the same points and same number of wins vs other teams…

more tournament styles
We use this in our Physical Education classes and love the website but students are bored with the single, double elim and round robin. It would be good to see other varying tournament styles. Like compass draw, 3 game guarantee or even triple elim.

Allow custom game (round) numbering
We need to be able to add our own numbers to the rounds or games in the tournaments. Round or game ordering by hand is necessary for large tournaments with variable. For instance, we run a kickboxing tournament and we need to number the rounds based on fight teams and athletes being in different rings at different times.

List an Organization's Top Players via a Leaderboard
Based upon the tournaments in an Organization's profile, every registered person who has ever played in a specific Organization's tournaments are ranked by their overall record (Tournaments-Average Rank-Total Wins-Total Losses-Total Draws=Average Percentage of Wins). Perhaps this can be a feature where an Organization can customize their own leaderboard based upon the specific tournaments that they have selected.

Email notification only when match marked "In progress"
As TO, I only have 16 boards for my bags event to be played on, and last year we had 120 teams.
Right now, as soon as a match is reported, players are posted to their next match, which is great. However, I might not be ready for them to play yet.In the Advanced settings, I can only turn on notifications, or turn them off. It would be a great help to add an option for a play to only get notifications when the TO marks a match as "In progress", so they know they have been assigned to…

Add some format
1) I need a format that use for Euro 2016, as team are divide by 6 groups, and we have winner and runner-up to qualified with 4 best-third place. However, now, if I want third-place team to qualified, all-third place will qualified. Can you add a custom number of team to qualified along with number of team per group
2) Also, as some request, I want a Page system (hybrid double-elimination)
3) Can you add consolation round not for only 3rd place (but for 5th, etc)
4) A re-seed in play-off round (as in NFL)

Automatically Convert Between Timezones
The tournament time should be presented in an appropriate timezone for each user.
Allow users to set their timezone in their settings page.

Dota 2 International 2016 bracket system
Great site, with great tournament options so far!
However the system I like best and think is one of the fairest is the Dota 2 International 2016 system:
First a group stage, where each player battles each player in a group for a ranking. (this is already implemented here, also an option to show only wins and losses would be nice, ties are split). After that group stage it goes on to a double elimination stage, but the top half goes to the winner bracket, and the bottom half goes to the Looser bracket. (This is not yet possible here).…

Iron Man Bracket
have Rounds where it can be selected as double elmination by bottom points player/players.
next round starts. bottom 1 or 2 are eliminated again until you get to a final 6 4 or 2 man. for the winner

ladders are great for the long run/ for long seasons. where as brackets are typically for short tournaments.examples of ladders:

gamebattles.com also has ladders.I would use gamebattles if they cater more lesser known games.
Have a petition system, if 200 registered players sign a petition you can add a ladder for their game.to save on hosting forums, have each ladder host their forum externally and just approve them for each ladder.
