Adding location for participants
It would be great if we had the option and ability to add location that participants are from. This would help seed players by area/region/state/etc. Shuffling seeds is great, but doesn't solve issues with players who have traveled together a long way, only to go up against each other in the 1st round.
The idea is, if they are really good, then they would eventually meet in the later rounds, much like #1 and #2 seeded players. Earliest those two should meet would be in semi/winners finals otherwise you could very well have one of the best competitors being eliminated…

allow a text box for each game that would be visable. somethig other than the paper clip. much like "labe each round above the bracket"

API : make the icon functionality available
For now, the icon member in participant part in API seems to be unusable.
Adding the possibility of adding an url in it and display it on the bracket will be very interesting !12 votes -
Allow to add participants in Elimination after the prediction phase has started if there are some free players
Here's scenario I've just encountered: we had 15 users signed in for the tournament, started prediction phase and then 1 more participant showed up. It would be great to allow him to sign in as well, since we have 1 free player in the first round.

Offer a 'friend's list' so I can choose from this for new challonges instead of having to enter them manually each time
My brackets are set up with the same basic group each time. I have to save my member's challonge info somewhere and plug it in each time. I'd love to be able to save these individuals to a friend's list associated with my account so I can easily add them to any future brackets.

make a smart bracket system
I use single and double elimination setup with call of duty black ops. Currently I have an application on my site that members submit, then my staff post the team and their gamertags. I would love your system even more if I could allow members to create their own team and invite their members to the team. Also, it would be great when teams report their score that the bracket does not generate the result until both teams agree on the score. If they disagree, the bracket paperclip turns red and only allows them to upload proof. An admin then…

Allow facebook page intregration
allow users to plug in their tournaments onto their facebook pages so that they may use it to get more likes, or even allow users to vote for their teams using facebook like or tweets.
the team with the most amount of likes or tweets gets to the finals and wins

Allow 3 team matches
My desire is to break away from traditional A vs B matches only.
So I am looking for a challonge that allows each match to have more than 2 opponents.
Such as:Match 1
A vs B vs CMatch 2
D vs E vs FMatch 3
G vs H vs I

Allow Special Characters in Scoring
The MMORPG game i play www.futurerp.net we do tournys now in. When we do team tourneys we total the amount of attacks from both players and then use that as a score. Well the problem we found is some of the players are not carrying there weight and advancing with another player without attacking which in turn the player that didnt attack gets an award with the other player because they were on same team.
What we would like is to have special characters allowed so we can seperate the scoring totals with the team like this for example 12345…

Post tournament schedules/results WITHOUT frames
Right now, the premium modules are an excellent way for us to use the system that you provide at Challonge on our own sites. The only problem is that a lot of advertising campaigns (Google AdSense, for example) do not allow ads on pages that contain framed content.
Perhaps this is possible through some sort of API that I haven't found yet. Either way, the ability to use Challonge without using frames would be awesome!

Auto Select Game winner
A nice feature is a choice when setting up the brackets to have an "auto winner" selection based on score. Give the option of "lower score wins" or "higher score wins". That would help remove some human error from the bracket by entering in scores and then selecting a winner. In most sports, the team with the higher score wins (golf being an exception, but the suggestion covers that).

Challonge app for Blackberry
It would be nice to have an app for my Blackberry Storm or my Playbook that allows me to update a tournament as it is going on. My train of thinking is set up the tournament ahead of time on the PC, and then have the app allow me to begin and update any and all published tournaments under my username. All of our tournaments are Ultimate Frisbee, so having a computer onsite connected to the internet is not always easy, but plenty of people have blackberries (or Androids or iPhones).

All the major 8 ball pool tournaments in Australia have random draws each round of the single elimination knockout stage.

Custom tournament w/ Group Play
I'm trying to use Challonge to run a tournament with six teams which are divided into 2 groups. The first 3 rounds consist of group play where each team plays 3 of the other teams, but not every other team.
If I could just manually fill in the rounds, I could accomplish this.
At the end of the 3 rounds, the winners of Group 1 (swiss scoring) play winner of group 2.

Swiss Pont - Give Point to playes match but Lose
When sombody play a match, and lose, he can win a small point.

-points per match win
-points per match tie
-points per lose but play the match*

All bye's at the bottom and a bye plays a bye in the next round
Is it posable to have all bye's at the bottom and a bye plays a bye in the next round for example, winner of match 1-2 plays winner of match 3-4 and so on until you come to the bye's, I don't want a bye to be playing a first round winner in the second round, just another bye, the one below them on the list. Great site by the way, I love it.

How do I get everyone in round 1 and then the winners advance
On single elimination Tournaments how do I get everyone in round one and then have the winner of each match keep advancing. Even though I have not started my tournament I see people in round 2 already. I want everyone to start in round one

statistics
Do you think it will be possible to associate statistics to the games played in the tournaments? For example the scores submitted are stored for each player for each game no matter what tournament. This would probably require to specify the game and not only the category when creating a tournament. I am confident you could come up with some tweak that would make it become viral (people like stats).

change scores once brackets are completed
I input the finals scores on my tournament incorrectly, but challonge automatically marked my tournament as completed and now I can't update the scores because the tournament is finished. Can I update scores once the tournament has been marked as completed? Is it possible to have a "Complete This Tournament" button instead of challonge automatically completing your bracket once the finals are reported?
