   since i only have access to a computer or laptop at school i have to use my phone to set up tournaments since i cant start a tournament from a phone it is challenging for me to proceed with it

2. Allow Insert into Byes before end of round 1

   I would much like it if you allowed the insertion of late entrants into bye spots before round 1 has been completed. There have been a number of times in tournaments that I have ran where one person shows up after matches have already been called, but due to having the space we are willing to stick them in. This functionality is nice because then the entire bracket isn't necessarily re-structured due to just having this person enter; rather, just one match is restructured. It is a great feature in TIO Pro, and is the main reason why I prefer it over Challonge.

4. Restrict who is allowed to vote on a particular bracket

   I'd like to be able to set who is able to vote on a particular bracket. The idea is similar to the additional admin option except it just limits who can vote. This could be handy for people that want to post a live update of their bracket publicly to social media, but doesn't want anyone to be able to vote, only the people involved in the decision making.

5. Bracket voting only option

   An option to set up a bracket that will just be made based on player's voting for the various pairs. Showing the current percentage break between each pair with the ability to set a timer on each round and have it automatically advance the pairs with the most votes to the next round and start the next round.

6. Mad Hatter style tournaments

   Mad hatter tournaments are usually used for volleyball tournaments. Names of players are drawn randomly out of a hat to build teams. These teams compete once and then the names are placed back into the hat and drawn randomly again. Each time a game gets played the teams are different. Your win/loss record follows you. It is similar to your round robin but instead of individuals competing, it would be teams. Teams could be as small as 2 people on up. This is a great social mixer.

7. Add a second stage format like IPL.

   Basically if four teams qualify then they play like so
   A 1 vs 2
   B 3 vs 4
   C Loser of A vs Winner of B
   D Winner of A vs Winner of C
   1st = D winner
   2nd = D Loser
   3rd = C Loser
   4th = B Loser

8. Allow teams to play each other more than once in a group stage.

   In competitions like the IPL teams play each other twice. Adding a simple option something like (number of games between each team) would be nice.

9. Add an option to disable preview of brackets while signups are open

   While there is a text saying "This bracket is a preview and subject to change until the tournament is started", a lot of people don't see this. There really isn't a need for a public preview of the brackets in any case.

10. Error in Swiss input.

    Question: I've run into an enigma of sorts. I had a two stage tournament set up, Groups into a top 8 Swiss. Everything was fine until I tried to enter the results of the last match of the first round of Swiss. It has the results on the standings, but it won't generate the next round's matches. Anyone ever have this issues?

11. Guarantee 3 rounds per team?

    Question: I need a tournament format that I'm unsure about. Basically we want the number of games to be the number of teams x 3 divided by 2. Is there a way to setup Swiss or Round Robin to fit that format? Each team needs a minimum of 3 games I believe. I know its not necessarily typical but need to know how I might sort this up using the API. Been toying with Round Robin but can't get exactly the game number output I need. Is there a triple elimination format? Is that maybe what I need?

14. Wall of Fame

    Hi -

    I was wondering if your team could look into adding a "Wall of Fame", considering so many people are using Challonge to create/manage tournaments.

    I believe it's a really simple idea to implement. Just create a simple table with player names and allow the admin the add how many times the player has won the "Final" of a tournament, how many time has he been a runner-up. Then simply display a page with the user's photo that is framed nicely.

    Hope this helps you understand the idea. I think this will add some appeal to this already great website.

16. API: Bulk Update Participant Seeds...

    Lets say I am using the API to run tournaments off my website. A tournament has 16 people signed up. Then I am using jQuery Portlets to allow the organizer to re-arrange the seeds. When he clicks "submit", the system must now do 16 queries to the API to update the seed for each and every participant (technically it only has to do 15, but whatever).

    It would be nice to have this done in a single query... maybe something along the lines with:

    PUT https://api.challonge.com/v1/tournaments/{tournament}/participants/seeds.{json|xml}

    Parameters:
    apikey
    {tournament} (in URL string)
    seeds array( [1] => participantid, [2] => participant_id, ... )

19. Add seeding options for Round-Robin

    I don't know if I'm completely oblivious, but it seems there is absolutely no way to seed in Round Robin tournaments. In a normal tournament when you add players, they would be seeded in the order you added them in, but when you add people in Round Robin, you just fill out a pool one by one. Then you have to manually sort each pool with the very awkward insert method of moving people around.

    There should be a function to seed players boustrophedonically for pools with an even amount players per pool. It get's a little weird for odd amount of players per pool though. I also really want the swap function you have in normal brackets too...
