Allow organizations as secondary tourney admins
Instead of only allowing Organizations to be hosts of tourneys, let them be added under the Permissions tab in the Advanced Options.
This would allow hosts to grant an Organization admin privileges without actually being part of said Organization (which at least in our specific case would be very useful).5 votes -
Being able to resize the printable version
Being able to re-size the printable version would be nice, as there's a lot of wasted space on the print. There's at least 5cm wasted space on the buttom of a A4 when printed in landscape.
Name fields are much wider than necessary. (~3 times as wide as the longest name entered)
Font size adjustment depending on amount of participants (in this case 16)1 vote -
Add a new method for seeding players
My community (and me) mostly use the "Shuffle Seed" botton, when we host a tournament with no signup page; the tournament hosters manually add all the players, then they press shuffle.
And that's ok!Now, you introduced an automatic way to join the tournament: set a beginning date and time, then add the possibility to check in.
That's wonderful! Players can automatically join (no need for a tournament hoster that has to add manually the nicknames).
But then? When time is up, we need a hoster to start the tournament.
Can't you avoid this? When check in time is over,…6 votesAdminChallonge (Admin, Challonge) respondedVery helpful feedback, thank you! You’re right, automatically starting tournaments at the start time should be an easy feature to add, and I’m glad you mentioned shuffling people automatically. We have a couple other features to ship this week and next, but then I’ll get this on the road map.

Create a modified single bracket
Hello, I was introduced to this site over the summer by a pool hall manager in Providence, RI and I've been messing around with it since. Recently, I showed this website to an APA league owner and he has fallen in love with it. We currently use it for a qualifier tournament (which is a true double elimination style bracket). Allowing people to follow how their favorite teams are doing is awesome and that's a huge advancement for the league...allowing them to not have to be there and crowd up the pool hall.
One type of bracket that is widely…

Add rank numbers to the predictions ranking
Maybe you could add rank numbers to the predictions list, once the tournament runs and people are ranked by their total points scored. This would be a great addition.
Maybe you could also find a way to narrow the space for each prediction down, so you could see more predictions in the predictions ranking. The way it is now, you have to scroll very far down to find a certain prediction sometimes. Especially with many predictions. Well, anyway adding ranking numbers to the predictions would have priority for us if you could make any of the changes.

2 things about brackets
1) 4th seed in group has all games as second, in League of Legends it means you have purple side every game which is disadvantage.
2) In 4 team group it is possible to have a 3 way tie, none of the teams should be "set to advance" because it causes misunderstandings. :)
Thank you :)

Fix round robin scoring
The player with the most set wins should be the overall winner. If players tie in number of set wins then the player who scored more points should be the winner. If players tie in the number of set wins and points scored then the player who gave up less points should be the winner.
Example 1: http://challonge.com/EXP_Marvel_3
Duo & X-ray won the same number of sets but X-ray scored more points so X-ray should be placed above Duo.Example 2: http://challonge.com/EXP_Melee_Ladder_TOP8
Vro and Oro?! won the same number of sets and scored the same number of points but Vro…4 votes -

For the Report Score
Is there a possibility that you could make it so the list appears in Alphabetical Order and with every name listed on the left. Matches would appear twice but in larger tournaments it would be very easy to find someone's name.

Mixed charts
In European Pool Tournaments, we play with a mixed chart, for excample 64 players play double K.O. until Last 16. Then Single K.O. There are 3 rounds on the winners side, Until there are 8 players left there, and the "one loss side" plays down to 8 players whom are then drawn into the 1/8-finals. The 16 players then play single Knock Out to the end.
See excample with single K.O. from Last 64: http://www.billiardapps.com/sheet-128-064-S1-S2.asp?db=epc&eventnr=2014100&tournament=M10&history=yes&showtables=1

Show what the tournament type abbreviations mean on the tournament list
Take a look at this page.
http://challonge.com/games/super-smash-bros-for-3ds-1/tournaments
The "tournament type" column contains some pretty cryptic abbreviations. There should be some sort of popup tip on hover that explains them, or a legend somewhere on the page, so we can see what they mean.

Threads in discussion tab
At the moment, the discussion tab in the tournament page allows for simple comment, that you can't even reply to. At the moment I'm running a separate forum for the tournament, but it would be great to move the whole thing to Challonge. Is that something you can look into?
Cheers,

Allow premium users to view the entire tournament log in one page
If the entire log can be copied/pasted with one operation, it makes post-processing much easier for us nerds who like to perform statistics on the scores. Currently, it's separated out into several linked pages, and that gets cumbersome.
And hey, more perks for premium isn't a bad thing, yeah?

Allow Cross-Origin Requests for Javascript API usage
Hello,
Our University does not allow us to use server-side requests to implement the Challonge API. We must use Javascript API's for all our purposes. I was wondering if it would be possible to enable Cross-Site AJAX scripting in your web server configuration.
We will be creating an unlisted page that allows us to manage our tournament.
Thank you,
-Joel

Check box to delete old tornaments
We need to be able to delete old tournaments you participated in, not the admin or organizer, or include settings that delete them after 90 days or so.

Text Message Notifications
I ran a Bags/Cornhole tournament on Friday 9/12/14. Participants loved the site but had only one additional request; Can we add text message notifications for the players/participants?
I plan on using your site a lot more and can't wait to hear if it is possible to incorporate that feature.
Thanks!

Create different tie breaking algorithms
I'm getting a lot of backlash on the current implementation of tie break score. My "peons" are asking for a system that's more granular, such as game win percentage or point differentials. Perhaps these should be selectable options upon tournament creation?
Better yet, make it a premium only thing, so snobs like me can lord it over everybody else ;)
Thanks!
