1. Assigning Boards Made simpler and Show The Number

   Making Board assignments easier (instead of all the clicking and assigning manual). If I have 32 teams, it's easy to add them. With boards, if I have 8, I can enter the 8 but have the program automatically assign boards to the first 8 games. Then as board open up after a game, it automatically assign the next available game to that board. Also, next to the names, add the number of the assigned board. It never fails, after you call a game the teams will ask "where did you say to go?" Right now you have to click back in to see where you put them.

2. Team Ratings based on players' average ratings.

   Team rating must be based on participants'/members' average rating. Then after a match, the team gain/loss ratings will be also affected on every members of the team. This might also demand an option or feature to register specific players which included on the team that only plays on a specific game.

   For example, I will use my plan on our tournament on FIBA 3X3 company league:
   A team consist of an owner (can be a player or just a manager of the team), a team captain (automatically a player), and at least 2 to three additional players to complete a team.
   First, the team rating: Each player has their own rating on basketball. Player 1(P1)= 1200; P2=1200; P3=1000; P4=800; total of 4200/4 = Team rating is 1050.
   Second, match result: The team won and will be added a +12 rating. The team rating will become 1062 and the 4 players will receive +3 each. P1 will now be 1203, P2=1203, P3=1003, P4=803.
   Since a team tournament cannot be assigned how many players per game can play because the team owner/captain can add more than 4 members on their team (example for the game we will conduct), there must be an option that they will report, or the organizers/officers-in-charge of the tournament must dictate who will play or played the game.

   I just thought this feature because there might be a possibility that we will allow teams to change or trade players within the team (like NBA) since we are just a business establishment conducting sports fest for our employees and possibilities on the employees to separate and/or hire new employees. The current system as of writing is that whoever plays on a team, they will carry what the team's rating, we can say "team reputation", even though the players are not that good.

   I hope you can see my point (sorry, not very good in English here. Peace!)

3. Custom Prediction Scoring per Round

   Allow the tournament creator to set the number of points awarded for correct predictions for each round of a tournament. This would mean that we wouldn't only be restricted to either linear or exponential scoring.

4. Exhibition Match Event

   To have a tournament type that allows individual matchups that compete in Best of 3 or 5 rounds. Essentially a Friday Night Fights or Pay Per View tournament type. Each person only fights one head to head match.

6. How can I set time to rounds playing single elimination

   I need to set time for the rounds on a single elimination bracket. It's like set the starting time of Round 1 at 05:00pm, Round 2 at 06:00pm... How can I do it? Thanks you

7. Community Ranking System Reset

   Ability to reset the community ranks so that I can create quarterly leagues and hand out prizes at the end of the quarter and reset everyone back to even. This will add competition and loyalty to grind the community 'ladder' again.

8. Free for all within allocated team brackets tourny

   Idea here is to create a tournament mode where participants can register. Each round then has the participants in different teams playing against other teams. At the end of the tournament, the scores are tally by the participants individual wins. To make it harder and fairer, it is preferential to have participants play each other, and be with each other a even amount of time.

9. Provide round information via the API

   Having re-labelable rounds is great, but I can't get them via the API so I can't present them in a useful manner during a live event (streamed FGC events). Adding these to the Tournament Show call would be really helpful, and a responsive API team would be a quick way to get me to buy a premium membership. ;)

10. 1 page printable scoring sheet

    We use this for our dart tourney every year. We have brackets as big as 60 people sometimes and it would be easier if instead of writing things out that we could just print the scoring sheet. I know other systems do this. Was wondering if this was a possibility to get done?

11. Offer "shifted" losers' brackets

    The conventional bottom brackets you use for DE tourneys are slow and less fair than shifted brackets. For example, in a 16-team tourney, there are groups of 8, 4, 2, and 1 dropping into the losers' bracket. You drop the groups into the 1st, 2nd, 4th, and 6th rounds, thus: 8 -> 4 + 4 -> 4 -> 2 + 2 -> 2 -> 1 + 1 -> 1. It's more efficient, and usually more fair, to drop them into the first four rounds of the losers': 8 -> 4 + 4 -> 4 + 2 -> 3 + 1 -> 2 -> 1. There's one less round, and so teams spend less time waiting for their next opponent. And no matter who wins the losers' bracket, they'll have the same 5-1 record, whereas with the conventional bracket they might be need 4 wins, or 6 wins, depending on how early they got their loss.     Challonge Could be the first online platform that developes a Scoreboard for community game streamers for mobile games.

13. Allow for creating a Group Stage Only tournament

    Recently, I helped a group complete a 32-man tournament that was divided into 4 groups of 8 based off of skill level. We left it as each winner of the respective groups was considered a winner of the tournament. However, due to the way Challonge is set-up, the group stage has to be followed by a Playoff Final Stage with no predictions available for the group stage. It would be great if there could be a Group Stage only tournament so that others who might want to host a tournament like this (Or us, when we host our second season later this year) don't have to deal with the playoff stage or don't have to create 4 separate tournaments for each group. It would also be nice to have predictions available for the group stage if it's a group stage only tournament to see how people can predict the winner.

    Have an option for round robin tournaments that limits the number of rounds or times that a player plays to some max number. For example, 8 players round robin currently results in 7 rounds. With truncated round robin with limit 3, 3 rounds would be played instead

16. GSL-style format

    There should be groups that allow 3 teams from 8 to make it from groups. 1st placed teams get to Semi-Finals, 2nd placed Quarter-Final High seed, and 3rd Quarter-Final low seed. (This is copy of another post from 2019, but I want to refresh this thema)

20. Let me enter partial results without immediate live posting - use a HOLD to Publish button

    Something I've found that would be helpful to me is the ability to enter partial results and have them held until the missing score is known.

    With the covid-19 outbreak upon us, we hold virtual tournaments where each player plays within a 24 hour window. Their matches are streamed to facebook
    and played whenever they find the time. The scores come in at varying
    intervals and through not only facebook posts, but text messaging, email, and Messenger messages.

    As the TD, I'd like to be able to enter scores as they come in, but not have them "go live" until all scores are in and I want to publish the results.

    Currently if I enter the score of only one player in a 2 player match the
    other player shows as a 0 and the results go live.

    If there was a button in the Settings screen that said "Do you want to Hold
    Scores for future publishing" I think that would do the trick. Then when I
    entered just one score a popup could ask if I wanted to wait for the second
    score before publishing. If this were the case, I could enter all scores as
    I receive them and elect to publish them when I'm ready. Another advantage
    of a HOLD SCORES feature is when I have a Double Elimination tourney, after
    the second round the winners have to wait a day while the losers catch up.
    By holding the winners' scores I can release all matches at the time I'd
    like to avoid confusion of who plays when in which round.

    Thanks in advance for considering this. As I'm learning your system I like
    it more and more.
