Custom Brackets
I've come across a couple different variations of brackets that I would love to be able to host on challonge, however my choices are limited. My thought is that there should be the option to create a customized bracket, one that is not one of the already hosted options. I would also like to be able to customize where each participant goes based on how they finish in a match up.
For example, I would love to be able to run a bracket where more than one person/team is in a match. For games such as Super Smash Bros. there…

Half-points in knockouts
I want to organize knockout in chess, but Challonge doesn't allow to set score with fractional parts (half-points).

Running Leaderboard
I run regular events for various games and would love to have a running leaderboard, with point totals and such that can be imported from events run on Challonge or Manually entered. Looking to be able to set a Lifetime Leaderboard, and a Seasonal Leaderboard. Leaderboard should have column for each events, and the number of points earned for that event, as well as a total points column. Clicking on an event can bring you to the challonge event if that was where it was run.

Chrome/Desktop notifications
Just like with Facebook, Twitter and various other sites, how about having Chrome or Desktop notifications for next matchups and tourney starts/ends in addition to the emails? It would be a lot more convenient to the participants that might be multitasking or doing something else during the times they would need to be participating

Move existing tournaments into a community
Will help with archiving and moving in planned tournaments.
Currently, an issue for me, as attempting my community page makes it look spartan without our major tournaments listed, especially with future ones planned out.

enter scores on stations tab
When using the stations auto assign feature, it would be very convenient to be able to enter game scores while looking at the stations tab

do not assign tournament participants to multiple stations
When using the station's auto assign feature, the algorithm should take care that participants are not assigned to multiple stations at the same time.

Save tournament results before reset
We use to reset tournaments every year to start new ones. It would be great, if there was a history or a save option, so we can go back to check the old results. I know, that we could make screenshots too, but then the information about the points i the games won't be saved.

Triple Elimination Bracket
I am an assistant Tournament Organizer for a weekly Super Smash Bros tournament, and we usually run a double elimination bracket, but a lot of interest has arose in switching to a triple elimination bracket. This would give players with lesser experience to further compete in the tournament. I have searched all over the internet for well made triple elimination bracket generator, but it simply does not exist. We would have to do it out by hand every week, which would be extremely tedious. To add a triple elimination bracket to Challonge would be extremely helpful, and we would be…

Expose Stations to the API
Currently there is no way to retrieve the Station of a game from the Developer API.
Exposing the station through the Match object will allow us to streamline some of the hiccups of organising matches to be played.

Have a 1v1v1v1 option
Our game can allow up to 5 players to compete- we are having to do this by hand. Is there a way the site can set an algorithmic option for this?

Show the seeds from bottom to top on lower bracket.
For example, the number 2 seed should be all the way on the bottom and the move your way top. So, it should be something like this, if it's a 16 team bracket: 1-16, 9-8, 5-12, 13-4 (Upper Bracket)
3-14, 11-6, 7-10, 15-2 (Lower Bracket)16 votesThanks for the feedback! You’re absolutely right, the lower bracket order should be reversed. Since this doesn’t affect pairings, it won’t get immediate attention, but this change is definitely planned.

allow Top Cuts in Swiss Tournaments
In most trading card game tournaments, after the Swiss Rounds end the tournament continues with a single elimination for the Top X ranked players. It would be important to allowed the tournament organizer to be able to choose between the Top 8, Top 16, or Top 32 players when using this feature.
The reports for the round would continue but omitting the Tie-Breaker Score & Score data for the players in the top cut elimination rounds.
Pairings for the elimination rounds would follow the standard pair the best with the worst formula.

Add a function for ELO Rankings
ELO rankings are commonly used in Chess and TCGs to determine the quality of a player over a period of time. Basically a player gets more ranking when he beats a good player (one who has a relatively high ELO ranking), than when he beats a "bad" player, and vice versa.

Randomize matches
I would like an option to randomize the matches, as opposed to selecting the victors. This way, the tournament would be completely fair. Here is how I would go about lt: when you select the question mark next to a match, there will be a, 'Random', checkbox in between the two (or more) contenders. There should also be a, 'Randomize All', feature, which randomizes the victor of the entire tournament.

Allow A Fixed Number of Rounds for Swiss Events, Even If Less Than Minimum Needed for Winner
I like to run Swiss events that are a fixed number of rounds, regardless of the number of participants. Challonge! forces Swiss events to have a minimum number of rounds required to have a clear winner.
