  2. Some sports require field and referee management.

In a beach volleyball double elimination tournament the looser will have to referee the the next upcoming game. It is also important that the available fields are used evenly which can cause some overlaps in the time schedule. It gets fairly complicated but the rules are clear.

  3. CAPTCHA monetizing technology.

I was hoping you’d be able assist me with this inquiry. I’m interested in speaking with someone regarding our CAPTCHA monetizing technology (http://www.solvemedia.com/captcha_video) and a potential revenue generating partnership. I think there could be an interesting play here in monetizing your sites’ existing traffic. Let me know if there is any interest in exploring this opportunity, I'd be more than happy to set aside some time and discuss it.

    Best,

    Ian

  4. Provide historical details for organizations

It would be absolutely awesome if there was some way to track historical records for organizations. Our company uses Challonge for our Friday pong tournaments, and being able to get some statistics out (wins, losses, etc) for circumstances where there's organizational continuity would be great.

  5. Save tournament results before reset

We use to reset tournaments every year to start new ones. It would be great, if there was a history or a save option, so we can go back to check the old results. I know, that we could make screenshots too, but then the information about the points i the games won't be saved.

  6. Make possible to configure user-default usernames for different Tourneaments.

For each Tournament-series it should be possible to configure a different user-name.
For example for FIBS, I have an user name that differs from my Challonge user name, and I must every time again change it after signing-in to the Tournaments.

Hope it is possible to realize.

    Thanks!

  8. Player’s Network Profile Messaging

I my last suggestion titled Super-flex Tournaments (Flex Tournaments would have been just fine), there was a miswording I caught after I sent the message that I really wanted to clear up.
“The name super-flex format now comes to mind, but whatever it might be called, I am wondering if you might be able to offer a round by round ordered restorable contest format, with administrative intervention available from beginning to end.”
Should have read: a round by round ordered re-sortable contest format, with administrative intervention available from beginning to end.
That would be what I and I believe many…

  10. Super-flex Tournaments

I am not sure what to call this suggestion yet. It is kind of a non-bracket bracket or post bracket format, and kind of a self-re-sorting every round affair. But let me try to explain from my experience over the last ten years hosting multiplayer team tournaments online. This is what I do:
I post a notice of a contest for clan teams.
Representatives post intended attendance, and proposed number of team from their clan.
With additions and subtractions we set a start date, and I blind-draw and post the opponents battle assignments, starting threads where they can then negotiate…

  11. a perfect tournament for cs 1.6

first round where all teams are divided into desired number of groups and a group game of swiss tournament takes place where the first two qualify for the next round where we have the remaining teams playing the knockout of single elimination if there is any uneven number then a third play should be invoked for instance 36 teams in 9 groups of 4 teams each, each team place 3 times and top two teams from each group moves to next round now we have 18 teams for knockout we play a single elimination and we get 9 teams as…

  12. Allow us to add and track things on a per match or per tournament basis

in mini war-gaming we often track "best sportsmanship", "best paint job on army", and "overall match points"

Often times the wins/losses are tracked separate from overall points which are compiled from a few separate categories. It would be nice to add a category to a bracket and track points per match per category. AND add a tournament category and points for that can be tracked per tournament.

  13. cater to miniature war-gaming

In miniature war-gaming we don't just track win-loss-tie (which are assigned points like w:3-L:1-T:2) but we also track other point values such as points for holding objectives and kill points. So the progression of the bracket is not as simple as win/loss.

Here is an example of a tournament rule set for how to run the brackets. These are the rules you use after the initial pairings:

    Subsequent Pairings
From here on, all pairings and ranks are based on tournament
point subtotals and pairings from previous rounds. After all
games in the previous round have been completed, sort the
    tournament…

  14. Invitation to Play

When an invitation is sent to a player it lands in their NOTIFICATION tab. However when this is clicked the "You have been Challonged" link shows and on clicking this the http link to ACCEPT is NOT clickable. It has to be COPIED and PASTED on the browser. It would be extremely convenient of this link is made to be cilckable since not all users are familiar with copy n paste, especially the older ones. Thanks

  15. Ability to change url/subdomain of an Organization

We created a new organization about a month ago. The name was too specific and the scope of our organization has grown; hence a name change. However... the url/subdomain is now inconsistent with the new name.
It would be nice to have the capability to change the url/subdomain.

  16. Translations

It would be very nice if users could use this site in their languages. If you need help, I can translate it to Portuguese.

I think about that because I'm the President of one Organization in Brazil but here only a few people can understand English and in Brazil there's no similar website to Challonge!

  19. X Wing Tournament

    Hej,

In the official FFG X Wing tourney - there's a match 'win' called a modified win, wherein a person will gain only 3 points when certain conditions are met. Is there a way (in the swiss system) - to incorporate this?

  20. Allow co-champions to be declared

Some tournaments allow ties in the championship match and declare co-champions. You do not allow for this possibility.
