    I am sure that everyone would like it if you put in a consolation bracket as well as a four game guarantee bracket option to make tournaments much more fun

    This is a nicely timed request. We’re working with another customer who needs a solution for this as well. We don’t have a solution yet, but it’ll be in the works within the next couple months.

  3. Add players to a "frequently used" list

    I have players who are often participating in my tournaments. I'd like to be able to have a "frequent user" option in the settings so that I don't have to add them each time. Thanks.

  5. Two stage tournament seeding tweaks

    In the two stage tournament where players first go through the group stage and then on to the bracket stage. While - as me - having 2 groups and want top 3 from each group to advance to playoffs the seeding seems a bit off. This requiers byes, so 1st seed from each group - in my opinion - should go to semifinals while 2nd/3rd seed to play quarterfinals. With challonge this does not happen. Instead they move 1st seed from group a to semifinal and 3rd seed from group b to semifinal.

  6. doubles

    Doubles

    4 people in a group, and you play doubles with everyone. AB v CD, AC v BD, AD v BC. Top 1 or 2 people advance (need a multiple of 4 to advance).

    Works for tennis, ping pong, badminton, etc

  7. View [misc] data from the participants page

    I've been using the API to put information into a bracket. With this information, I have also included some data in the participant[misc] field. This is great, and I love it. However, this [misc] field is really only viewable from within the API.

    I was wondering if there could be a slight notice to the contents of this [misc] field on the /participants page of a tournament. At the moment, there is a pencil and a trash can on the right side of every participant for edit/remove. It would be nice if there could be an icon I can simply…

  8. (1 v 1 v 1) or (1 v 1 v 1 v 1) or (2 v 2) particpant option

    I occasionally host Mario Kart and Smash Brother tournaments. One feature that would be nice is if you could have 4 players (1 v 1 v 1 v 1) compete in a round at a time instead of always (1 v 1).
    I think this feature would be a great addition and even speed up some tournaments from being extremely long.

    You could even have a 2 v 2 option as well

  9. Scores with 0.5 - half-points - draws

    There are three resutls in chess: win (+1 point), loss, or draw (+0.5). So it would be great if you'll allow to set score with decimal points.
    25-15 and 45-35 look so terrible... (instead of 2.5-1.5 and 4.5-3.5)

  10. Extra options to finish or close the tournament

    It seems interesting to allow a tournament to close prematurely. I have thought of some use cases that would enjoy having this option:

    • A suspended tournament: In case the tournament can't be hosted or fails to gather enough contestants, but the organizers still want it to be posted for reference. It could be just an alternative to deleting a tournament.

    • A tournament that did start but couldn't finish. It could happen because of an accident (electricity gone or hardware failures), time issues, problems with the contestants or organizers... again, instead of deleting the tournament you could just close it and…

    It would be very good if Challogne had a proper point system for hockey tournaments - 3 points for a win, 2 points for win in overtime, 1 points for loss in overtime

    makes it much easier to have regional or carpool avoidance and to see matches farther in bracket

  14. Duplicate event

    I am the sole organizer of a monthly gaming event. Most of the details of the event stay the same, with the exception that I need to change the dates, and maybe tweak a little text.

    It would be amazing to be able to duplicate a previous event, and just make a few changes.

  17. Include in Round Robin table the difference between "Points Scored" and "Points Given Up", determining the winner by this way.

    I need the Challonge causes, in tables Round Robin, the winner is determined first by the "Score" and then the difference between "Points Scored" and "Points Given Up".

  20. Search/Sort by tournament date

    Sorting by creation date is useless. When looking for a tournament to play in, you have to click on individual entries. This is long and tedious.
