Allow bracket predictions to be removed by tournament organizer
People make tournament predictions in my tournaments aren't following my rules, and I would like to remove their predictions so they don't show up in the leaderboard. This would stop people that make duplicate tournament predictions too.

Blind draw Dart Tournament
I play a lot of Blind Draw double Dart tournaments. The idea being that you do not know who your partner in until that draw. My suggestion is that a mode where the tournament director enters each player, selects tournament mode - Blind draw - 2 players. Your program would then generate the pairing randomly and populate the bracket. Current tournament directors will not use Challonge because they cannot fill in the players prior to the draw for partner, by the time this is completed and if they were to use your program and they fill in the pairing names, they could have written the names in the bracket and started the match.
Also a previous suggestion mentioned randomly assigning board numbers to matches, which you thought was a good idea but would add too much complexity at this time, which I agree, but how about a field where the board number could be manually assigned for board tracking/management purposes. Like 1-__ = Match 1, Board XX you could enter a 2 digit number.

Additional decisive group match
If players can not be separated in the group table, it should be possible to add an decisive match between the tied players to determine their position.

Enable OAuth2/JSONP in API for cross-site AJAX requests
I'd like to be able to write client/javascript-only apps to interact with Challonge. To do that, it would be nice to be able to do JSONP style ajax requests to the Challonge.
Since it's all in the javascript, I'd rather not expose my API key in all the calls, so something like OAuth2 (aka Facebook, Twitter) authentication of the API calls would hide the key from prying eyes.

cater to miniature war-gaming
In miniature war-gaming we don't just track win-loss-tie (which are assigned points like w:3-L:1-T:2) but we also track other point values such as points for holding objectives and kill points. So the progression of the bracket is not as simple as win/loss.
Here is an example of a tournament rule set for how to run the brackets. These are the rules you use after the initial pairings:
Subsequent Pairings
From here on, all pairings and ranks are based on tournament
point subtotals and pairings from previous rounds. After all
games in the previous round have been completed, sort the
tournament record sheets into piles based on the number of
tournament points. Shuffle each pile.
Take the top sheet of the pile with the greatest number of
tournament points and choose the first opponent in the pile
he has not already played. Set this pair aside and repeat the
process. When you reach the end of a pile move to the next
pile. If a pile has an odd number of players, pair the last
player against someone from the next-highest tournament
point pile. Do not do this with any individual player more
than once per event. Again, once you have all the pairings,
write the opposing player’s name in the appropriate column
on each player’s sheet. It might take several attempts to find
pairings that avoid duplicating match-ups.In another type of tournament the rules work a lot like round robin. It is a 6 week tournament where you can play as many games from week to week against as many opponents as you want. The only real restriction is that you cant play the same opponent twice. A win is 3 points and a tie or loss is 2 points. However there is also scoring for painting models (again, this is miniature war-gaming) which while tracked separately plays into the final rankings. In the end 3 categories exist; overall winner (most points total), game winner (most combat points from playing the games), and most painting points (for painting models).
Overall it would be nice to see this site expand into the realm of miniature war-gaming. Currently there is no system like what you have here at Challonge for our hobby. If we are not using pen and paper we are using cumbersome heavy standalone applications to track tournaments. It could significantly expand your user base if you support the major mini war-gaming systems like Warhammer 40k and Wamachine/Hordes.
If you generalize the requirements a bit more these tournament structures could be used in other genres and allow for more robust and flexible tournament structures.

Confirmation/Validation button before moving to the next round.
This might solve some issues of people dropping between rounds. Before the next round populates, have a way for the admin to confirm it is ready to go.
That way, it gives them time to drop players when necessary.
As a side note, can you ad a way to manually override the matchups in Swiss? If two people are paired up against players who dropped, it would be nice to be able to pair them together instead of having them sit around doing nothing for a round.
Thanks!

allow for Table Numbers in Tournament Brackets.
In tournaments, rounds are often assigned to table numbers. It would help a lot if Challonge would default to labeling pairings in each round by table number. This would allow the bracket print out to tell players which table number they are assigned to. The default option should be assign players with the highest rank to the lowest table number.

Please allow for a non-median Bucholz system for tiebreakers.
Please allow for a standard (non-median) Bucholz system for tiebreakers, as the median-Bulchoz system can lead to awkward results in small tournaments with a smaller number of rounds.

Add a duplicate tournament button
I have run almost 200 tournaments using challonge. I can't thank you enough. I love the improvements you have made since I started. Nearly every tournament I run has the same settings. If I could make templates or copy a tournament (maybe just autofill the new tournament page and allow me to edit then save to create it).

Customized Scores for Tennis
I'm pretty sure anyone else holding a tennis tournament would appreciate this as well. I have two suggestions.
The first request is mainly for people printing out the bracket, as those who check out the brackets online can just highlight over the score to see a more detailed score.
Right now your system only displays match scores in terms of sets (i.e. 2-0 or 2-1) when you print it out. Is there an option that allows for the entire set scores to be displayed? For example:
2-0 could mean 7-6, 6-0 or 6-4, 6-1, etc.
2-1 could be 6-7, 7-6, 7-6.The simple match score doesn't tell much information. 2-0 could mean a very fast tennis match, or a very close one.
The second request applies to both the online bracket and the printed bracket. In tennis we have something called tiebreakers, which involves an extra set of scores to be recorded.
Usually when you get to 6-6 in a set, a tiebreaker has to be played to determine who gets 7-6 and wins the set. The tiebreaker score is then displayed with the set score, like this example: 7-6 (9-7)
So something like this:
7-6, 6-4, 6-7
Looks more like this:
7-6 (7-5), 6-4, 6-7 (8-10)Anything that is in parentheses is considered a tiebreaker score.

quick advance option to support customizable round labels
When I select customizable round labels to change the "best of" for each round with quick advance turned on, I would like to select which player won each set (without scores) instead of just the overall winner.
The current workaround in our community is not using customizable round labels and entering the amount of sets won as the score of a single set. (which results in confusion about when rounds go from bo3 to bo5)
edit: mockup! https://pbs.twimg.com/media/EUdPz2pXgAMGyGG?format=png
I think this is important, because
• the current options result in a lot of wrong reports in large online events
- few players remember or bother with exact scores, if the game even has them
- many players get confused about how to correctly enter scores
- wrong reports add extra overhead to everyone involved
• the order of wins in a round should be easy to preserveBonus points if the last sets only unlock when the already entered ones don't decide a winner.

Option to hide "Bracket Preview"
It would be really nice if you could add a option for tournament hosts to disable the bracket preview since a lot of players think its the actual brackets and start playing ahead of time.

Share admin access to a tournament via Challonge API
As a website that takes advantage of the Challonge API, I would like to be able to create tournaments for a group or league of users and have them be able to set the scores through the Challonge website, rather than having them set the scores on MY website and then send them to Challonge via API.
One way to overcome this obstacle is to allow me as a developer to share admin access (which should include ALL the functionality a tournament creator/organizer has like start/finish a tournament) when creating a tournament.

Allow voting for group stage matches
We use Challonge to create brackets where we vote on songs. We'd like to add a group stage component to this, but it doesn't seem to be possible to use voting there. We'd like to have group stage matches where the "goals" are votes. 3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw. Then you could use "vote difference" as a tiebreaker.
Is this something that could just be turned on? It doesn't seem like it'd be any different than voting in elimination tournaments.

Two stage tournament best second
If we can have the opportunity to choose the number of participants in the final tournament in case of a "two stage tournament". For example, if there is 3 groups, it will be cool to select the first participants of each group and the best second to make a final single elimination tournament with sami-final and final
