Let schedule time/field be seen without having to hover.
Lots of people having issues because they dont know how to view the time / date / field of the game(s). This would be awesome if there were a spot we could display that info on or close to each bracket game, without having to "hover and click details".

Multiple Ideas
Have the ability to mark that a player has paid.
Be allowed to add someone into the bracket after it has been drawn. At least make it an option.
Have a breakpot random draw option

To play football videogames tournaments
I propose this.
1) A function that let to the admin put the result in goals (on futbol for example) like:
Tom wins against John 3-1. Not just 1-0 like now.
2) A function to put a Team on the right side of the name of player from football leagues like Barcelona, Sunders FC, Bayern Munich with his respective shield as mini avatar.
for example: (avatar of his team) John Biz - Barcelona FCWhat do you think?

Email notification only when match marked "In progress"
As TO, I only have 16 boards for my bags event to be played on, and last year we had 120 teams.
Right now, as soon as a match is reported, players are posted to their next match, which is great. However, I might not be ready for them to play yet.In the Advanced settings, I can only turn on notifications, or turn them off. It would be a great help to add an option for a play to only get notifications when the TO marks a match as "In progress", so they know they have been assigned to…

Select double elim up to semi
Would be great to select when the double elim rounds stop. Example double elim up to semi or quarter final and then knock out. This is good for reducing length of tournament while still giving the majority of the field a double life.

Hybrid Bracket
t's called a hybrid bracket where it combines elements form both double elim and single elim.
A handful of sports leagues use this finals bracket at a to conclude a league. It influences the team to strive for the top two spots on the ladder.

Ladder Tournament Type
Add another tournament type. Ladder Tournaments are a seeded bracket in which seed 1 plays 2, 3 plays 4, and so on. The winner moves up a position and the loser moves down. It is run for X amount of rounds and places are determined by which position each player finishes after all round have been completed.

Allocate tables automatically
It will be good if tables/Venues goed have been added automatically without adding tables/Venues. We want to use it in Cuesport and it take time to add 100 tables

Allow the Admins to lock the rounds.
After scores are reported at deadline, we should have the option to lock the rounds so no player can go back and change their scores. We have has this happen multiple times where the round deadline approached and no scores were reported. We then entered scores, the next round started, and a player was then able to go back and inputt their missing scores, thus allowing them to continue in the tournament when we had already removed them from it for not reporting scores on time.

Not allow a banned player to sign up for future tournaments.
When we put a player on the blocked list, we are blocking them because we have banned them from tournament participation. It would be helpful, if when we did this, it would automatically block them from signing up for our future tournaments. We are having to manually check every tournament for these banned players.
Also, it would be handy to know if a banned player changes their UN. This is another situation we encounter.

Respond to messages sent to support.
I have had multiple occasions of problems that should be easily fixed. Tournaments not advancing at the end of a round and other problems that i have heard no response from.
The entire site is down now, and I'm not sure if it's being addressed or not. I wish someone from support would at least contact me on one of these issues.

Expose the reopen match through the API
In http://api.challonge.com/v1/documents/matches/update, maybe add a match[reopen] parameter?

Allow A Fixed Number of Rounds for Swiss Events, Even If Less Than Minimum Needed for Winner
I like to run Swiss events that are a fixed number of rounds, regardless of the number of participants. Challonge! forces Swiss events to have a minimum number of rounds required to have a clear winner.

i have 22 players & wanted to organize 4 group stage round robin. it was meant to be 6:6:5:5 players in 4 grps. it only allow 6:6:6:4.

View seeding more clearly
If you're the creator of a bracket, you can go to the Participants tab to see a list of all the participants in order of seed. However, everyone else has a much harder time of seeing what the initial seeding was if they want to know. They have to look for the little numbers next to all the players' names, and scroll up and down a lot. I'd like to be able to see the participants page even if I don't have access to edit it.

Add the tiebreaker option of just the 2 teams head to head.
With the current head to head tiebreaker if i have several teams on the same points then it ranks them by which of them has beaten the most of the other teams on the same points. However if 2 of these teams have both beaten 2 of the other teams then their order seems arbitrary. It certainly doesn't account for their individual head to head.
So on occasion someone misses out on qualification to the finals because the bracket arbitrarily ordered them and the team above because they had the same points and same number of wins vs other teams…
