More API Documentation
Google API Group seems inactive. I'm a web developer and am looking to utilize the api to display tournament info on my website.
Although I have a good working knowledge of various apis it would help tremendously if some basic code snippets were given to demonstrate some of the api functionality.
A html example of display tournament bracket would be a great start.
Thoughts?

Highlight new matches when result entered
When a result is entered on the "report scores" page, it would be useful if the new matches involving a player in the old match were highlighted. This would make it easier to tell the player that just reported their match what their next match will be.

Maintain a ladder indefinitely
its not a tournament with a fixed final. Instead players "challenge" other players and post scores. See freeonlineleague.com for their implementation of ladders. You have a more awesome site.

Support Randomized Teams
Add a list of participants, which is then randomized into 2v2, 3v3 or 5v5 etc. teams and sorted into brackets

Customizable score table in round-robin
Round-robin would fit much more use cases if it provided a way to create your own score table with custom columns where you could specify how the score would be calculated. This would mean that you could add additional scoring information to the score table and also make your own rules for who will win.
In the long term I would love to see some kind of score table template that you could provide yourself, preferably stored in some known markup language such as XML or JSON so that you could either use the Challonge web interface or the API…

Fix Check-ins over API
Currently the check-in API as described on the API documentation is not-functional. Doing simple things like making a user checked-in don't work.
It would be amazing for this to be fixed as Check-ins are a major component of well organized tournaments and fixing this would allow them to be automated externally.

Ability to manually edit pairings for a Swiss tournament in progress
If you are running a Swiss-style event, it is sometimes necessary to edit pairings to the event in progress. It would be nice to have the ability to do this.

Add Fire Emblem Cipher as a game option
Hi, I am part of an online group that plays the card game "Fire Emblem Cipher." We host online tournaments on a weekly basis and love using challonge to arrange brackets and what not. However in the 'game' section of the tournament set up, we either have to select one of the Fire Emblem video games or just enter a custom game. I would love to have Fire Emblem Cipher added as a game. Either Way, thanks for all you do, Challonge really is a great program and yall are awesome for keeping it going!

Make an app for iPhone/android
It's sometimes hard to use the mobile site if you have to host a tournament where there is bad wifi or none at all. It would be really helpful to have an app that users could log into and have the same features as the site without the bugs that sometimes appear when using the mobile site.

implement "normal" Buchholz in addition to Median-Buchholz
Median Buchholz only works in large tournaments since the best & worst scores are eliminated. For a three game event... there is very little data left to create a valid tiebreaker.

Seed group-stage round robins so that top seeds go to different pools
As per title, at the moment I can't see any way to make sure that the player ordering by seed in the participants list (best player number 1 and so forth), ends up populating the pools so that seed 1 is in pool 1, seed 2 in pool 2 etc. Basically allocating players to pools by pool instead of by seed position.

League System
I thought since this website already offers such a great bracket generator why not incorporate a simple league system? Like a soccer league of even a simplified one such as League of Legends LCS format where there is a bunch of teams (or participants) with their wins, ties and defeats. Since the bracket properties are very similar to the league tables the transition should be simple and very handy to use.

Support Magic the Gathering style Swiss tournaments and tiebreakers
Hi, I'd really like to run Magic the Gathering Swiss tournaments on challonge, but challonge's implementation of Swiss currently doesn't allow this.
A number of changes would need to be made for this modified system, but this should be quick to impement.
These changes are:
Paring
When paring in an MTG tournament, each round should be paired randomly, pairing down if necessary, ignoring tiebreakers. Challonge currently pairs by seed, which means that parings are deterministic between rounds. It would be nice to be able to support a cut to top 8, but this isn't necessary because a new tournament could…

Double Loss option for Swiss
Basically a tie without points. To be used when neither player arrived on time for a particular round, and in some other situations as well (I know it happens in some card games, at least)

Discord Integration!
Integration to Discord in (almost) all forms. I'm specifically suggesting 2 (two) forms:
1. Discord Profile/Username & Tag in our Challonge Profile (or settings). Can be the "Application Connection" to the Discord account basically. (You can ask the Discord Devs to add Challonge in the account connections :3)
2. Challonge Bot:
The bot will post tournament updates in a specific server that the host chooses (must have access to the server ofc).
The bot can also update the tournament through commands in Discord (Admins and Host probably).I recommend that the Developers/Support people have a Discord Server so that the…

Allow us to view 'Active' Tournaments
I'd like the ability to see which tournaments I'm actively involved in. Sometimes I forget, especially if I'm signed up for a lot. I'd love a view that reduced the clutter of the tournaments that haven't started, or I've already lost - and just see the ones I really care about at this moment.
